Hi Pawan. This is one of the best summaries I have seen on the importance of hand sketching in design and innovation. I see younger students in architecture shunning this age old and time tested formula for computer aided design and now what i call the Ipad aided design. All the computer really helps us do is reflect rigid and finalized thoughts. The time lag between the occurrence of the thought in the mind and its visual representation when not using manual sketching is way too long. I am so passionate about this subject that I almost wrote my grad thesis on this.
